Performance Preparation- Preparing piano repertoire to the highest  standards, including stage confidence and musical communication.

Having learnt from some of the best pianists in the world, such as Murray Perahia, Dang Thai Son, Fou Tsong, Piotr Paleczny and many others, I have developed an ear for highly specialized and fine playing, with a special focus on Chopin's music.  

Dr Azariah Tan holds a Doctorate in Piano Performance from the University of Michigan and graduated with First-Class Honours from the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music.

As a professional concert pianist, he has performed internationally at venues including Carnegie Hall and the Kennedy Center and has appeared as a soloist with orchestras including the Singapore Symphony Orchestra and the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory Orchestral Institute.​​

His teaching combines advanced technique with the artistic and interpretive perspective of a professional performer.
